I love Sybil’s AES series and couldn’t wait to read Phoenix after having read Paragon. Phoenix did not disappoint. Isla is strong but vulnerable in a way that made me love her spunk more after getting a feel for her in Paragon. Phoenix or Nix? I am so happy he got his own story. He is definitely an Alpha and when he is with Isla, the heat level pops off the pages. Love, love, love this book. Looking forward to Helios and Ares books.
